The District is governed by a board of directors who are appointed by the County Board of Supervisors to four-year terms.
Board members serve a four year term; there is no limit to how many terms a board member may serve. Board members must reside and be registered to vote in the district. The board is the legislative body of the district, and determines the policies by which the district operates.

Atascadero Cemetery District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Atascadero Cemetery District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
